Easier hitting
Start a game in exhibition, quick start, or season mode. Press [Star, go to "Options", and set the batting aid to 100%. Continue your game and it should be easier to hit the ball because the batting aid is larger.

Alternate Uniforms
Press L + R when choosing a team in exhibition mode.
